Jim Beasley, Jr. Chosen to Lead Defamation, Libel and Slander CLE Course

Philadelphia Plaintiff’s Attorney Jim Beasley, Jr. will serve as the course planner for “Defamation, Libel and Slander,” the continuing legal education course (CLE) from the Philadelphia Bar Institute on Tuesday, July 10, 2012.

The seminar offers attendees a chance to gain insight into the development and prosecution of defamation, libel and slander cases from Jim Beasley, who is regarded as one of the preeminate defamation lawyers in Pennsylvania. His considerable expertise on the subject will provide assistance in avoiding the many roadblocks an attorney would face in bringing a defamation case to trial. Mr. Beasley, the managing partner of The Beasley Firm, has recovered rewards in excess of $200 million on behalf of his clients in a variety of complex matters.

The Beasley Firm has a long history of zealously defending the reputations of their clients. Since 1958, The Beasley Firm has represented public figures, politicians, high ranking officials, television personalities, journalists, business owners, teachers, and many others that have been seriously harmed by hurtful written or spoken words. This includes the largest defamation verdict in Pennsylvania history, a $34 million dollar verdict on behalf of Richard Sprague against the Philadelphia Inquirer for falsely damaging his reputation.
